Terms of Service

Last updated: May 25, 2026

These are the rules for using Bodhh. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. We’ve kept the language plain and the clauses short — read them.

1. The deal

Bodhh provides interactive learning content (simulations, lessons, quizzes). You can use it for personal, non-commercial learning. We can change features, prices, or shut the service down — we’ll give reasonable notice if we do. You can stop using Bodhh at any time and delete your account.

2. Your account

  • You must be 13 or older. If you’re under 18, use Bodhh with parental knowledge.
  • One human, one account. Don’t share login credentials.
  • Keep your password reasonably strong. If your account is compromised, email us.
  • We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform (spam, attempts to break security, harassment).

3. Content

  • Lessons, simulations, and the UI are owned by Bodhh and our content partners. You can use them inside the app; you can’t scrape, republish, or build a competing product from them.
  • NCERT names a curriculum framework; Bodhh content is independently produced and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NCERT, CBSE, or any government body unless explicitly stated.
  • Anything you submit (e.g. simulation answers, feedback) belongs to you. You give us a non-exclusive licence to display it back to you and to use anonymised, aggregated versions to improve the product.

4. Free and paid plans

The first topic of every chapter is free, forever. Paid plans (when introduced) unlock the rest. All prices and renewal terms will be shown clearly at the point of purchase. Refunds: if Bodhh doesn’t deliver what was promised, write to us within 14 days of the charge.

5. Things you can't do

  • No reverse-engineering, scraping, or automated bulk access.
  • No probing for vulnerabilities except via our (forthcoming) disclosure programme.
  • No uploading content that is illegal, harassing, or violates someone else’s rights.
  • No impersonation of other users or of Bodhh staff.

6. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but we’re not a critical-infrastructure provider. Bodhh comes “as is” — we don’t promise it will be available every minute of every day, and we’re not liable for indirect losses (e.g., missed exam preparation) caused by an outage.

7. Liability cap

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you in any rolling 12-month period is capped at whatever you’ve paid us in that period (or ₹500 / US$10, whichever is higher, if you’re on the free plan). Nothing in these terms limits liability we can’t legally limit (fraud, gross negligence, statutory rights).

8. Termination

You can delete your account from Settings → Account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access if you breach these terms; in most cases we’ll warn you first. Sections that should reasonably survive termination (e.g. content ownership, liability) do survive.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Bengaluru. If you’re a consumer in the EU/UK, you keep the rights of your home jurisdiction.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes get an email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
